The Alliance of Philippine Partners in Enterprise Development has the vision of a transformed and progressive society where people live in accordance with God’s plan, with dignity, sufficiency and responsibility towards others and the rest of the creation. It commits to help eradicate poverty and to promote national transformation by contributing to the growth and development of God-fearing, socially-responsible micro- and small entrepreneurs.
In 1991, APPEND was formally organized with nine non-government organizations. Today, it has a membership of ten microfinance NGOs and one thrift bank. The APPEND Network has an outreach of more than 500,000 clients through 170 branches in 127 key cities and provinces all over the Philippines.
