Aakay ang Milamdec (Mindanao Lumad and Muslim Development Center) Microfinance Foundation, Inc. envisions a prosperous Mindanao with God-loving, self managing communities imbued with active solidarity concern for the poor and disadvantaged sector of society. Its mission is to organize communities and provide micro-financing and related technical services.
MILAMDEC was registered as an organizatio in 1991, and its microfinance activities started in 1992. Presently, it operates in 11 provinces in the northern half of Mindanao: Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Compostela Valley, Zamboanga del Norte, and Zamboanga del Sur.
